When they heard the Alaskan Way viaduct would be closed for two weeks, ensuing massive traffic jams and pandemonium everywhere, the Downtown Seattle Association came to the Garrigan Lyman Group to ask for help. Our task? Spinning something terrible into something kind of wonderful. 

In 4 days, our team came up with Why Rush? Hour—a campaign using local chefs Tom Douglas and Theirry Rautureau, along with a combination of social, video and radio to get the positive spin started.
